About CR

Celebrate Recovery's focus is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through Eight Recovery Principles and the Christ Centered Twelve Steps.

This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems.

By working and applying these Biblical principles we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ.

The Landing - CR for Students

The Landing is a year-long program that helps teenagers travel the path to freedom, healing, and wholeness. This dynamic resource mirrors the content presented in the Celebrate Recovery program.

The lessons deliver hope-filled truths and real-life strategies for giving young people the tools for making wise choices and developing healthy patterns for living.

Designed for junior high and high school students, The Landing gives you everything you need to lead young people in making Jesus the foundation of their lives, avoiding or breaking cycles of dysfunction, and experiencing God’s incredible forgiveness and healing.

The Landing provides a safe place for students to share about their hurts, hang-ups, and habits and learn to apply the Principles of Celebrate Recovery to help them break the cycle of dysfunction in their families.” –Johnny Baker

I know you know this already, but there are kids who are hurting so badly sitting in your Sunday services and small groups each week. Some of them are open about it, most of them aren’t. Some of their issues are obvious, some of them are hidden. Some of them seem huge, some of them seem small, but they are hurting none the less. They are dealing with divorce, body issues, drug and alcohol abuse, pornography addiction, cutting, eating too much or not eating enough, depression, anxiety, peer pressure and so much more. Most of them feel lost and hopeless about it. They probably don’t talk about their pain or their issues, but they are there. As their leaders, I know you love them and want to see them grow closer to Jesus. One way you can help them is to get them to a program like The Landing where they’ll learn how to share about what is going on in their lives. They’ll learn tools to begin turning over their hurts, hang-ups and habits over to Jesus so that he can heal them. They’ll become free from these issues over time.
